Please pray for the family of one of the kidney doctors that I worked with at my hospital. He was shot and killed outside his office this morning. He leaves behind a young daughter. Pray for his coworkers and the nursing staff on the unit that I work.

We come to you with saddened hearts over what has happened in Asheville. We lift up to you the family of this man, who was killed in such a horrible way. Bring peace to this family, as you bring the ones responsible for this horrible crime to justice. Bless the doctor's little girl, who has now become an orphan. Send her your angels of mercy and love as she cries her heart out over her loss. Give her peace. Lord, I don't know why someone would do such a terrible thing, but I do know that NOTHING happens without you first providing whatever is needed to get through the ordeal BEFORE it happens. Help the police find who did this. And don't let anyone else be hurt by them. For in Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
