dads surgery

my dad is going for surgery on mach 13th. which we wont believe until he actually goes. he is a stubborn guy who doesnt want to do this. he was scheduled twice before but a couple of days before the surgery he would all of a sudden have a nasty cold that would go away soon after the surgery date. anyhoo he has diversticulitus, which is a disease that affects your intestines. he has already had 7 feet of his intestines removed and a mesh put in, they now have to go in and repair the mesh as its breaking apart, and may also have to remove/repair his intestine. if you all wouldnt mind sending up a prayer for him, that he will go for the surgery and that he gets through it alright and has a speedy recovery i would truly appreciate it. thanks everyone.

Dearest Shelly; I pray that our precious Lord Jesus will use his wisdom as the great physician to bing about a total healing in your dad. From the guidance of the doctors and nurses to the recovery time and maybe even spiritual healing in ares we may not know of dear. May God bless you for your love as a good daughter in this matter . Love, Samantha.

Dear Lord,

The father of my friend, Shelber, is going under the knife to have a new mesh put in him. Give him the peace to accept the surgery and the peace that comes from knowing You if he is afraid that something could go wrong. My dad was exactly the same way. Make everything go okay with the surgery...be with the doctors as they try everything possible to help this man. Give his entire family the grace as they undergo this ordeal, and calm their fears if they are afraid of something going wrong. May Your will be done in this man's life. For in Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Hi Shelly,

I'll be praying for your dad.  I understand how it can be when dad's get it in their head that they are not going to do something.  I pray he'll do what's best for himself & that the surgery will go smoothly.

all is well on the home front, dad had his surgery and he was up aand about shortly after, he called my mom and told her he was ready to come home, i think it was a self diagnosis there as the doctors told him no he had to stay. but the main thing is he is doing good. thanks to everyone who prayed for him, i appreciate it so much, love you guys so much.

That's great news, Shelly!  I'm so glad he didn't "get a cold" this time.  I'll continue to pray for a speedy recovery.

Thank You, Jesus!

It is SOOOOO good to hear that! I just hope that everything turns out okay with his recovery.

Thank you, Lord, for bringing Shelly's dad through the operation. Let his recovery be fast and with as little trouble as possible. Continue to bless him with good health and a great family. For in Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
