OMG! I'm glad this week is just about over. This is THE busiest week of the whole year in the youth ministry. Today is the last day of a series of crazy events, then on Sunday, all the youth leaders will take a group of 80 to Galveston for a mission trip. That basically means I get a mini vacation next week! Finally get to clear my desk of all those piles!!!
The house is moving along...at a snail's pace! It seems to be two steps forward & one step back. We have the tile laid in the back part of the house, which looked okay. But then those idiots grouted it and didn't clean the grout mix off of the tiles. So, after another day of making those guys clean the floor, and another day of another guy cleaning it with a muratic acid wash, it looks okay. Then the carpenter who was going to hang the trim starting 2 days ago still hasn't shown up. Painters were supposed to start today, but had to put them off because of the trim. So Teddy gets to do that this weekend. So, hopefully, painters will be here on Monday. And all of this is just one small part of the house! We're trying to get the back bedrooms done so we can move in there & start on the rest of the house. This nightmare will never end!!
Better get moving. Have a good day.
