Two weeks till Christmas!!!  I'm so excited!!  This is a very good year.

Last year at this time, I was so miserably depressed.  I went through a season of deep questioning.  At Christmas, I wasn't even sure I believed in Jesus.  Thank God, that season has passed.  I feel more "awake" & alive than I have in a very long time.  How very cool!

We had a great evening.  Teddy, Alan, Korey, Amy & I went to dinner at Jason & deMarco's.  deMarco is an amazing cook.  We had a wonderful salad (after chips & crackers & dip), chicken marsala, escarole with white beans, eggplant parmesan, some kind of baked rice dish, some kind of roasted chestnut mash (looked like hummus), and yeast free rolls (Alan is allergic to yeast).  Dessert was crepes with blackberries & ice cream.  It was all wonderful!  Then we sat around & solved the world's problems.  Didn't know we had it in us!!

Got paid today. FINALLY getting some Christmas shopping done! Now, my mom and me are gathering up stuff for Rebecca's birthday party, which is next Saturday. I'm going to get her a little digital camera. I already got her a Sly Cooper game for her PS2 as her Xmas present. I'm also going to get for her party one of those chocolate cheesecakes that are divided into four different sections, with each section a different kind.

Just got back from work. We had to unload a...I kid you NOT...4,200 piece truck and another half-semi full of groceries! I am EXHAUSTED!

But tomorrow, the store is having it's yearly Christmas party! Everyone brings a dish to share, and gets a little present from the store. I'm bringing my famous Holiday Bowtie Pasta. It's bowtie pasta, Italian sausage, diced tomatoes with garlic and Italian seasonings, smothered in Alfredo sauce and topped off with shredded mozzarella. YUMMY! There goes my diet!
