Hi folks!  I hope everyone is having a great day.  Mine was a great frustration!  I went to the doctor this morning to get some test results.  My stupid doctor didn't see me until one hour & 15 minutes after my appointment time, told me some things that could have been said over the phone, was totally noncommittal on what the next step is, then charged me $35!  I should have followed my gut instinct when all of this started & changed doctors.  You can bet I'm changing now!!!

What's new in your world?

That sounds like the optometrist I went to a couple days ago!  I walked in, and he immediately yelled at his secretary for not informing him I wore gas-permeable contacts.

He then proceeded to treat me badly.  He took my contacts to the back to perform some measurements, and then a few choice words escaped from the back room.  He stormed back into the room, and blamed me for having bad vision.

He said, "I can't make heads or tails out of your prescription."

I said, "I just paid you $40, you better make something out of it."

So, he dilated my eyes, and made me sit there for an hour at least!  And, he kinda gave up...so...he sent me home.

I get a phone call from him, and he said, "What do you want me to do?"  I was very short with him.  I said, "You're the doctor, I'm the patient.  You give me an exam, I give you my information & insurance...and usually in a week or two I have contact lenses.  I don't understand why this is so difficult to do."

Some people shouldn't even be in business.
