We just caught two different news reports on the Equal Rights rally we attended today in Houston. On one of the reports, it showed several people who were at the event. I'm not sure what the question was, but one ignorant man, holding a small child, must have been asked his opinion on the topic of gay marriage. He said, "They've made the opinion known (referring to the passing of Prop. 8). I don't know why they keep bringing it up." What a stupid comment to make. Way to teach your child hate, dude!

I saw that comment on my news, as well. I started to chuckle. It's such a sad world we live in. Ya know? More churches are brainwashing people to believe in a doctrine of hate, rather than a gospel of love.
And, the thing is...these days, it's the doctrine of hate that is more easily spread around. I'm not too concerned about the legislation of Prop 8, just yet. I didn't expect it to pass.
But, in the future, I'll be more active about things like that--once it hits home.

Mama Lisa, The word of God says that because iniquity shall abound the love of many shall wax cold. When the Spirit of God leaves the churches they will tend to lash out in hatred equal to the middle eastern extremists that kill those who call on the name of Christ. Sadly, many won't even see that they are following the path of an unbelieving world void of the Spirit of God. I have already been shot at leaving work because some hated my views. I guess I could hire a bodyguard like some Christians but I prefer to trust the Lord. I feel that if people hate me enough to attempt to kill me my faith in and love of the Lord will only send me to a better place void of any evil. Those who teach children to hold signs saying God hates f..s are really no better than those who teach their children to kill American soldiers such as in Vietnam. Sadly, what they really do is to teach an innocent child to live a form of life that will bring them an eternal death in the spirit and cut off their chance of salvation. The word says train up a child in the way that he shall go and when he is old he will not depart from it. Sadly, that child will probably grow up to think wrong is right and blasphemy the Holy Ghost.
