What up people! Yes it is 9:00am and I am at work. WHAT? WHAT? I know, it kinda shocked me to. I had to come in early to hand the boss her parking card. She has been out of town and let us use it. So any way same old same old for me today. My sunburn is better.

Greetings from sunny California!!  It is so gorgeous here.  I don't want to come home!!!  Except my little dog Riley is missing me, according to Amy.  We decided last minute to come on Monday night instead of Tuesday morning.  Our flight was scheduled to leave at 9:00pm.  We got loaded on the plane only to be told that there was a 2 hour weather delay!  Hello, does no one check the weather BEFORE the passengers load the plane?  Anyway, we filed back off & spent the next 2 hours staring at each other in the terminal.  When we finally got to San Francisco, it was 2:00am, 4:00am in Houston!  (David, we thought of you that night!  What was the weather delay?  Possibly a storm in Nevada?)
Today we drove to Santa Cruz along Highway 1.  Beautiful!!!  We went to a restaurant that Teddy said Guy Fieri had on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.  It's called Duarte's and is in Pescadero.  It was expensive, the waitress was rude and slow, and the food was only okay.  Artichoke soup tasted like... well, nothing, really.  Anyway, it was fun.  Then we took advantage of the Manager's Special at the hotel!  Never pass up free booze!!

Talk to you soon!!
