We had a great 4th of July party last night. We all ate too much, drank a good bit, laughed a lot, and burned a whole lot of money in our front yard! The good news is that everyone went home with all their fingers, toes, and eyes!! Teddy made them wear safety goggles for the Roman Candle wars and it's a very good thing. Somewhere around here is a pair of goggles with a burn mark!! Those guys are NUTS!!!

That probably would have been my pair of goggles if I would have been there. I am so sorry I did not make it. I have been battling an ear infection, and I have just not felt good enough to do anything. I am resting so I dont have to call in sick the first day back from vacation...LOL. That never looks good....Glad to hear you had a good time. Miss you!!
I didn't eat as much as I thought I would. We didn't shoot any fireworks, but we did watch a couple people shoot some down our street. My dogs went crazy!!! My family spent the night watching watching Sheryl Crow live at the Chicago House of Blues. I'm glad I didn't have a Roman Candle war. It sounds cool, but if I were involved something would go wrong. Either my hair would catch fire and I would have to wear a hat for a couple months or I'd end up shooting myself in the foot.
