I saw the eye doctor first thing this morning. I have a bleed in my retina, cause by high blood pressure. He took my pressure there and it wasn't extremely high, but considering I'm already on two types of BP medication, it shouldn't be high at all. He said that if this can happen in my eye, it can happen in my brain or heart. I left there & went staight to my regular doctor. She is adding another med, so we'll see if that helps. Oh, then she said those dispicable words that doctors always say, and yet we always seem to pay them anyway - lose weight. Evil woman.
I'm looking into taking a leave of absence from work. If you were a fly on the wall and watched me at my job, you'd know why my pressure is up!! Just have to figure out how to do it without losing my insurance.

Sorry to hear about that Mama Lisa....if its any consolation, I have been on blood pressure meds for about 2 years now...and yes, the evil woman doctor gave me the same speech...loose weight. Hope everthing else is going ok...
Been checking my blood pressure all day since the doctor's, and it's been right on target. Maybe I was just in panic mode this morning at the eye doctor's. But that doesn't explain the bleed. I'll try the new meds for the weekend and see how I feel. I just hope it gets rid of this constant headache!
