The Flag

I didn't really know where to put this so I guess this is as good a place as any. If not, please feel free to move it.

A lot of people argue back and forth about whether or not America is a Christian nation. Just because Christians live here doesn't mean that it was started as a Christian nation.  On the other hand the word of God says by their fruit you will know them
Was our flag designed with any insight or could the Spirit of God moved on these men to lead them to it's design.
  I don't know but:

The flag of the United states of American seems to have a unique design all it's own.

There is one star for each state on a field of blue.
The word of God says that every star differeth in glory and just as the body of Chris is made up of a diverse group of peculiar people the United states is made up of a wide variety of people as well.

Those stars are white and Revelation tells us that the white robes of the saints is their righteousness. 1 Corinthians 1:30 says "but of him are ye in Christ Jesus who is made unto us wisdom and righteousness and sanctification and redemption."
That shows me that if the founding fathers were Christians they are as the the children of Abraham and righteous in Christ Jesus our Lord. White stars.

Those stars are on a field of blue.
The word of God says that in the last days let not he that is in the field return after his goods. There are of course other scriptures bearing witness to the children of God, or Christians labouring in the field.
The word says that there is healing in the blueness of a wound.
That field is one that represents healing.
When we go into all the world to share the gospel we in a sense go out to labour in the field.
The word also says he sent his word to heal the people. The very word we share when we labour in the field is healing. In a sense it makes that area in which we labour a healing, or blue field.

The flag is also comprised of red and white stripes.
In one sense we can see that the word says that with his stripes we are healed. Those red, or stripes that bled were in a sense white or rightoues stripes.
It was those stripes that made us free from sin and righteous in the eyes of God as long as we love the Lord our God with all our heart and trust in the blood that was shed for our sins to make us righteous.

Those stripes of red and white with white stars in a field of blue hang on a pole.
The atoning Lamb of sacrifice hung on a pole as well. He was fastened as a nail in a sure place and was was the symbol and standard of every born again believer that would ever call upon his name.

Was our flag designed by Christian forefathers?
  I don't know.
  This I do know.
It is the only flag I saw on a chart that had every part that could signify salvation in the breaking of the body and shedding of the blood of Jesus on a cross at Calvary.
The only flag that agreed with the plan of salvation in Christ and the total healing of a people of who would call on his name and LIFT HIM UP.

  May God bless,

  Tiffany Elise
