I got a new place to live, but the landlord wants me to pay him half of the rent up front.  He tells me this literally after I have paid a large chunk of bills and told him I wasn't prepared for it until this weekend.  He has literally called and texted me several times since then asking for an update to my paying him, and it's driving me insane!

I am going to do my taxes online tomorrow in the hopes that any returns I get (if I get any, THAT is my prayer concern!!!) will help to pay the security deposit/half-rent to him and ensure I can move in 2 weeks.

Guys, I need prayer.  I don't know if I will get a return considering that I still owe thousands in federal taxes and I am unsure if my state taxes are all paid off yet and if so, will it guarantee a return for me.  So this is such a stresser for me.

And I didn't get anything back in time for the $300 to be paid today. Looks certain I'll be homeless. I won't get any money possibly for a week or more. Thanks God for showing how much you care.

I tried that and was denied that believe it or not..

I wound up begging and pleading the new landlord to renegotiate the lease agreement to April 1.. still waiting to get the new lease back from him
