I finally get a day off. But unfortunately, I woke up with a splitting headache.
My work schedule has been nuts the past 3 weeks...ugh!!! And to top it all off, I have to wait 2 more weeks to get a full weekend off. I don't even get to experience Passion Sunday or Resurrection Sunday at church this year....Gots to work...danged sick people....
I guess I can't complain too much....I have a great job, get paid extremely well, and the bonus of the hugs and thanks from the folks I care for make up for the crazy schedule. I really wouldn't trade my job for anything. Had lunch with my boss yesterday and we talked about the stress of the job and about how there are days that we feel like throwing in the towel, but then realize how much we really love what we do. It was quite a pleasant discussion. For all my bosses faults, which of course all bosses have, at least she's a real person. And she isn't above eating her lunch in the same place as the rest of the staff.
I hope to relax today. My headache is starting to fade.
Thank God John is Catholic, I will at least get to go to church tonight and again next Saturday. I'm even considering breaking my own rule and fully participating in the Mass, and taking Eucharist on Ressurection Sunday. (Saturday for me) John and I have discussed this much and discussed church teaching about it, and I was actually pleasantly surprised about the official church teaching about quite a number of issues. But that's for another topic for another day.
I guess I've been away too long, for I can't seem to shut my mouth.
I love you guyz!!!!!
Tim

Good morning! Tim, it's great to see you back here again! We've missed you!
Teddy & I are about to spend the day working on the backyard. He's going to get a load of dirt for the flower beds, and we have to put down the garden edging, continue to burn the old fence (which burns surprisingly easy), clean off the patio, etc. It will be a long, tiring day. I can't wait!

It has been a wonderfully relaxong day, I even got some laundry done.
I just put a london broil in some marinade to grill tonight. mmmmm-mmmm....grilled tequila marinated london broil, roasted potatoes, and a garden salad......what a way to finish off my day off. Maybe some margueritas to go with the london broil, to stick with the tequila theme.........
