Clothing

This is where my previous post about a rollercoaster started but it seemed better to start with emotions and beliefs before going here. This can be embarrassing but it is something many transgenders go through.

Have any here had a rollercoaster of emotions where you would buy clothing of the gender you feel just to throw them out and later buy them again?

I went through this time and again squandering money buying, throwing away and buying clothing as I swung from male to female and back to male with my emotions and fear of the scriptures.

I decided to quit wasting money and just kept what I bought and now have a wardrobe that is half male and half female.

Has anyone here gone through this?

  May God bless,

  Tiffany

Well, no, but I have spent a lot of money on clothes I never wear. We should go shopping sometime!

I'd really like to but I don't have any money left.

Tiff,
I would be so confused, I can't hardly hang one of Lisa's blouses up because the blasted buttons go the wrong way!
My problem with clothes is They keep shrinking while they are hung up in the closet.

Papa,
I know what you mean about the buttons. It takes some getting used to. The ones on the back are even worse.
My clothes used to shrink in the closet too until I started wearing corsets. Somehow thay stopped that problem. I don't understand how though. They're not even hung in the closet with my blouses and dresses when not in use.
I guess some things are just a mystery.

I blame the washing machine.  Or the dryer.  Or the cat.  The fact that my clothes getting smaller has nothing to do with ME, I guarantee!!

Tiffany, size 8?  Really?  I wear an 8, too!  In a SHOE!!!

When I moved, I gave a lot of my old clothes to Goodwill and the Salvation Army.

...and since I sometimes shop there, I'll probably wind up buying them BACK! hmm.gif

Mama,
I once had an army cap that I left in the dryer too long and when I took it out it fit my five year old neice.
I think that's what happened to everything else. I was just going through a phase of trying to learn how to do laundry back then.

My cousin does crafts and sews doll clothing. I think she goes about it the hard way sewing it from scratch. Just give me an adult outfit your trying to copy and in about an hour or so I turn it into doll clothing.

I like the Goodwill stores too but well-meaning ladies keep showing me where the guy's clothing is. That's why I buy most stuff through the mail. I guess when you're not out it can make some simple things difficult.
