So, its friday! I have nothing to do tonight.. or this weekend for that matter cause I lost most my friends! WHOOhoo. But work is crazy. Trying to close.. not going so well, so we might have to come in tomorrow. Boo. For those who dont know what my company does, we do oil well services and geological stuff. Well one of the things we do is Mud Logging. When you drill for oil, stuff comes up in the mud and we have "sample catchers" who basically take samples of the mud and log whats in the mud. Its a messy, gross, stinky job. Well, yesterday we get this email from out VP..

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ladies and gents, We have to do a favor for our mud logging group in West Africa and re-bag some well bore cuttings for them that are currently in our facility. It is a job we need to do tomorrow afternoon as they are to be returned to the oil company as soon as possible. So, you are all hereby invited to participate in a rebag the samples party tomorrow in which you will be doing a lot of numbering of sample bags and transferring the samples in to the new bags. It will start with pizza for lunch about noon tomorrow and following that we will set up the tables under the carport and do the work outside. While doing this you will all become expert at handling geological samples and get an idea of what sample catchers and mud loggers do at the wellsite. You should not get too dirty doing this but I would suggest you wear casual clothes you do not mind getting dirty, just in case. Bring gloves as well if you want to keep hands clean. Regards, Bruce

I'm off not feeling well today.  Evidently that Fire Roasted Tortilla soup I had at Jason's yesterday upset my tummy!!  But since I'm so good at my job, I didn't have much to do today except clean up the crap around the office, so I'm glad I'm home!!

Have a good one!

well, back from the baggin!

you know, i hate to admit it, but it was kinda fun!

the whole office was out there and we somehow started a sing along, the weather was beyond perfect, and we all worked as an office! it was messy and the chemicals from the bags dried my hands out so bad (theyre peeling) but it was worth it.

Good for you, Amy!  You should have taken rubber gloves, though!!

Exciting news for TSA!  We are getting ready to launch a new website at www.TheShepherdsArms.org!  Since we are very new at this, it may take a while to get it right, but at least we are moving in that direction!  Please pray for us as we try to reach out to others with TSA!

Suggestions for the website are WELCOME & ENCOURAGED!!  What would you like to see on our site?

Well...I would like to see all my old buddies back here againcry Where has everyone gone?? It looks like its just Lisa,Amy,and I. Well...I will keep praying about that...

I got to spend time at a park/cemetry with Jake. I kind of feel bad cuz Jake and I were...well,we were kissing ALOT in a little bridge u can use to cross. It's a nature bridge that looks like a  tree log...and a women walks up to walk through, and sees us kissing like crazy. OMG...I will never forget her face. She was completely shocked and froze for a minute..then got in her car and left. I wish I could have apoligized to her. Well...That was basically what happened today besides class..I have to start on some homework now. TTUL all!
