So now the journey begins and realizing that it is time for me to be culturally as well as spiritually fed, and my current church won't and probably can't do that for me.
Thinking about going to MCC since I talked to someone (at a bar, so it's a bit suspect, but oh why not) who told me a change in staff and pastorship has made it a bit friendlier.
We shall se / Vi skall se
Where I wish to go, were I to have my drothers, is another alternative church, a church for "freaks" like me. That is where I am most at home, where I am allowed to grow into God's Kingdom as the way He made me out to be (but I refuse to wear pink, c'mon people! hehe)
My prayers follow you as you seek an accepting congregation. May you find a place of comfort where you can be fed.

MCC is great and the preacher is pretty funny, lol. You don't have to wear pink there either, lol. But yeah,I do recommend you to go there. It's not overcrowded and it's a friendly environment.
I went with my Goth gang to Luray Caverns last Sunday so I wasn't able to go anywhere, and tomorrow I will sleep in because I will be too tired to go anywhere, though I am thinking of MCC again.. provided I get up for it.. who knows.. basically, I don't have high hopes for MCC because I had bad experiences there before, not being surprising because I tend to have bad experiences with nearly every single gay group I ever encounter in person blah blah blah
Okay, I'm going to say this, but I want you to take it in the spirit in which it's intended - out of love & respect for you!
Do you think maybe you have bad experiences with gay group because you EXPECT to have bad experiences? Have you thought about what vibes you are putting out there to people? Do you go with an open heart & mind, or do you go fully expecting to be disappointed?
I believe in the laws of attraction. What you focus on is what expands. If you focus on negative experiences from the past, I think they are bound to just repeat themselves.
Does that make sense?
