So I just finished watching the movie "the sum of us" and wow it is such a great movie. It is a 1995 comedy-drama with Russell Crow. So it is a story of a father and son that live together. The father is 100% ok about his son being gay and makes some great comments throughout the movie. Next time I go home I am renting the movie and watching with my mom, I just loved it (yes, it is mom safe, no russell crow in a birthday suit). I had a good cry for the last 10 to 15 min of the movie, the movie itself is sad and also thinking about meeting my special someone, if his out there. Any way I thought it was a beautiful movie so you should add it to your Netflix if you have not watched it. Another great family movie would be "mambo italiano".
My memory is so bad. I have seen that movie. I must not have been that crazy about it because I only rated it 2 stars. I kind of remember not being able to understand what they were saying!!

LOL yeah they do have an accent that can be hard at times, I think it's supper sexy. You should watch it with some subtitles LOL. I need to go to Australia and find me "me mate".
I haven't seen the Pursuit of Happyness just yet, I'm not a big Will Smith fan. I heard him being interviewed a long time ago and I didn't like what he had to say. Like with Tom Cruise, I think his nuts so I no longer go to the movie theater for his movies, may be rental.
Loved "The Sum of Us". I saw this flick before I came out and even in my state of mind at the time I found it very heart-warming, I became an instant Russell Crowe fan.
