Please keep Teddy's mom, Evelyn, in your prayers. On Friday, she had a hemorrhagic stroke (bleed in the brain). Fortunately, it seems to have been minor and she should recover with no surgery. She spent several days in ICU, but was moved to a regular room this evening. She'll get to spend some more time in a nursing home rehab center to regain her strength with therapy.
Send her your prayers and your words of encouragement!

Just read of Mammaw's recent illness. I pray that she makes a speady recovery. I am relieved to hear that the stroke was minor. I know how devastating strokes can be. (I work in neurology and see the effects of strokes on a daily basis) Praying for a speedy rehab stay!!!

Thanks, guys. Mammaws is doing a little better. She had an "episode" yesterday where her blood pressure plummeted, and if they can keep that stable, they will probably send her to a nursing home soon for rehab. I know she feels and appreciates your prayers.

Please make Mammaw feel better and heal her completely. She is having a hard time, so give her the strength and peace to come through all of this smiling and joyful! Bless both her and her family with your presence and calm every fear that they maybe feeling now. They all need you! For in Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
Mammaws is doing so much better. She was moved yesterday to a nursing home type facility where she is supposed to get some rehab. Unfortunately, this is the same facility she was in after her surgery, and these people SUCK!!! They tell her not to get out of bed on her own to go to the restroom, but they won't come when she pushes the call button! The good news is that she is able to get up (slowly) on her own! Since there is home healthcare right there at her apartments, we are going to try to spring her soon!
Please continue to pray for a complete recovery.
Thanks!!
