I had to quit my job Monday. I was so TIRED of being promised a new position in this and that department...only to be passed over. Also, I was tired of all of the broken promises that were made to us cartpushers. And then, I was just plain EXHAUSTED from having to bring in the carts AND clean up the bays AND help carry out heavy TV sets AND nearly getting run over by crazy drivers AND THIS AND THAT AND SO ON!
And do you know what?
After I quit...THEN the store manager FINALLY bought another cart mule to help bring in the carts.
It took my quitting for us to finally get some more help.
I most definitely will NEVER work for Wal-Mart EVER AGAIN!
Pray for me to find another job elsewhere. But don't worry about me. If anything, I feel like as if I have my "balls" back!
I'm still so proud of you! You stayed with that job a lot longer than most people would have. You can go get another job! One with people who will appreciate you and treat you like you deserve!!
You go, boy!!

I have put in MANY applications at the other retail stores, grocery stores and restaurants.
Many said that they aren't hiring now because it's the "slow" time of the year, but that they will give me a call in a few weeks when business starts picking back up again.
